Why Everybody Gets Wrong About The Marvel Cinematic Universe

To date, there have been ten movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and there are no less than eleven more confirmed over the next five years. So it is pretty clear that the popularity of the franchise is showing no signs of waning.

The perpetual expansion of the franchise in a potentially near-limitless number of weird and wonderful directions is a big draw for audiences. Marvel Studios have more than 75 years of comic book history from which to pluck characters and stories and that’s a key factor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s almost unrivalled popularity.


That said, although the franchise has a huge and very keen fan-base, there are number of things that a large number of people keep getting wrong about it.
Whether it’s facts about the characters and content of the movies themselves or generalisations about the franchise and the people behind it as a whole, there are always pieces written about the Marvel Cinematic Universe that contain incorrect information.
