David Jamichael Daniels, 22, of Mobile, Alabama, was identified by authorities as the suspected shooter and arrested on seven counts of attempted murder.
The seven shooting victims, all of them in their early 20s, were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated.
Multiple 911 calls were made early Saturday morning reporting the shooting at 5312 Thomas Drive, Sheriff officials said in a statement.
When deputies arrived, they found three victims inside the home, one in front of the house, one on the street median along Thomas Drive, and two across the street, the statement read.
They were identified by Sheriff’s officials as Kearria Freed, 20; Anesia Powell, 20; Devanta Moore, 21; Jacole Young, 22; Kelli Curry, 20; Tykeria Ethridge, 22, and Henton Franklin, 22.
Freed, Moore, and Franklin remained in critical condition as of Saturday afternoon.
Officials did not release any information regarding what may have prompted the shooting at the Spring Break party.
Witnesses provided a description of the shooter, and deputies took Daniels into custody after searching the area. A .40 caliber handgun was also found in the backyard of a home nearby.
