‘Fast and Furious 8’ News: Paul Walker Brother Cody Returns?

Despite the fact that it's been a year-and-a-half since the tragic death of Paul Walker, whose autopsy later reveled was still alive immediately following the crash, in a horrific car traffic accident, his Fast and Furious character Brian O'Connell is reportedly all set to ride again in the new 2017 Fast 8 sequel. According to the latest gossip news updates, Walker's brother, Cody, is very interested in reprising hisFurious 7 role as a CGI body double in next installment that Vin Diesel insists Paul already promised he'd make for the fans.
"Paul use to say that Fast & Furious 8 was guaranteed. In some ways when your brother guarantees something, you have to make sure it comes to pass.
"So if fate has it, fate, F8, then you'll get it.
"Furious 7 was for Paul; 8 is from Paul."
With all that having been said, it may be difficult to have Paul in the eighth film without that participation of his brother, Cody, who helped Universal and James Wan finish making the last movie along with the best CGI money can buy.
Fortunately for the fans of the franchise as well as the Fast and Furious family that has grown up around the films, the NY Daily News reports that Cody's manger Matt Luber has confirmed that the surviving Walker brother is interested in reprising his role, although nothing has been set in stone just yet:

Shortly after it was announced that Universal had made the first billion dollars onFurious 7 in a mere 18-days, the franchise biggest star and dedicated executive producer, Vin Diesel, claimed that that they had already decided to make another sequel dedicated to Paul's memory.
Last month, Riddick told MTV News that he felt an obligation to make Fast 8 since Walker had off-handedly mentioned that Universal had plans to make a few more films before finally letting the racecar crew retire (via CelebDirtyLaundry):

"I'm not sure if they are going to make an eighth movie, but if they did, I'm sure he would entertain a conversation (about a role)."
According to Luber, Cody is going into acting fulltime following the success of Fast and Furious 7, so we will have to just have that no future projects will wind up conflicting with his coming back for Fast 8:
"(His acting career) is in its beginning stages. He's open to all types of roles."
Maybe Cody will finally even be able to get that Varsity Blues 2 project off the ground?
